A useful first conversation about orthodontics starts with questions, rather than assumptions about a treatment. This short worksheet helps organise what you want explained. It does not identify which option is suitable for you.
Identify the service you read about
Nordic Dentistry’s website menu uses the label “Orthodontics – Invisalign” and links to its Invisalign service page. Refer to that page when explaining what prompted your enquiry. The label alone does not establish which options the practice can discuss for an individual person.
Build a question list in three groups
These are prompts for a conversation, not answers or treatment recommendations.
- Arranging the conversation: Who can answer my initial questions? What is the next step if I would like to discuss the service? Has an appointment been confirmed?
- Understanding an individual explanation: What findings is the clinician discussing? What is being proposed, and why? What benefits, risks, alternatives and limitations should I understand before making a decision?
- Clarifying what remains open: Which questions have been answered? What still needs an explanation? Who should I contact for clarification after the discussion?
There is no need to treat an unanswered question as an agreed plan. Keep a space beside each question for the team’s actual answer and a separate space for anything still to be discussed.
Keep service descriptions separate from personal answers
A website overview describes a service in general terms. An individual assessment and discussion establish what the clinician is proposing for a particular person. This worksheet does not compare appliances, set a timetable, recommend treatment or predict a result.
For administrative questions, visit the Nordic Dentistry contact page or call 519-208-4060. The practice is at 465 Highland Rd. West, Unit 3, Kitchener. Ask the office how to arrange the appropriate conversation.
